The San Pedro Police Department held its “Open Day Fair” today, June 21, to educate the community about the different departments and their regulations. They spoke about the Family and Violence Unit; how family problems are dealt with and what determines the consequences to wrong actions; what regulations are broken when violence takes place and what are the consequences of these actions.
Police Officers also spoke about revenue collection and administration services. They took the time to explain how information is gathered when an incident occurs and what information can and cannot be shared with the public. The fair was organized to educate the community and also create a closer relationship between residents and police officers.
