This is why Victoria House received the “2017 Outstanding Service Award” from Magnum Tours, a top U.S. wholesaler for Belize with more than 34 years of experience. Magnum Tours arranges travel agent familiarization trips to Belize every year to display the beautiful attractions and resorts in the country.

On May 23, 2017, Magnum was hosted for lunch at Victoria House by long-time managers Mr. Brent Kirkman and Ms. Janet Woolam. Mr. Dave Ekman, Co-Owner of Magnum Tours, stood up to acknowledge Janet and Brent for the amazing job they have been doing at the resort over the past 20 years.

“I just would like to tell you a quick story about Victoria House and its service,” Dave said. “When I was here with my family on New Year’s Eve, on my departure day I was brought to the San Pedro airport to catch my flight back to the international airport. A few seconds before boarding on the plane, a Tropic Air agent paged my name and I was wondering what could have happened. An employee from Victoria House showed up at the airstrip to bring my son the cap that he forgot in our room. I was very impressed. This is just a little story I wanted to share to tell you about their customer service”.

Mr. Dave Ekman handed out the award to Ms. Janet and Mr. Brent, who were surprised. “Everything that Victoria House is and the experience we provide to our guests is only possible because of all the good and hardworking employees we are lucky to have,” Janet said.
