Kicking off the 21st Annual Caye Caulker Lobster Fest taking place this weekend at La Isla Cariñosa is the Miss Caye Caulker Lobster Fest Pageant with four contestants vying for the coveted crown. It all starts on Friday, June 26, 2015.
Highlighting the Color Explosion part of the island’s Lobster Fest, the pageant promises to be an explosion of color, music and festivities. The Caye Caulker Lobster Fest Pageant Committee is pleased to present the delegates for this year’s Miss Lobster Fest 2015 pageant: Leah Canto, Aricelli Cadle, Shayenn Magana, Alessa Madrill.
* Leah Canto - 17 year old: Extremely friendly, loves children and hopes to be a pediatrician. She is the oldest and the only girl out of four sibling.
* Aricelli Cadle - 16 year old: Recent graduate of Saint Catherine Academy where she acquired various awards including an honor roll recognition. She will be furthering her education at St. John's College Junior College. She has some modeling experiences under her belt including the 1st Belize Fashion Week which was held in San Pedro.
* Shayenn Magana - 17 year old: Graduated from high school last year and now enroll at the University of Belize. She enjoys reading, singing and has a passion for animals.
* Alessa Madrill - 16 year old: 3rd form student at the Caye Caulker Ocean Academy. She one day hope to open a non-profit art institute for youths, is a PADI certified diver and has over 35 open water dives and love drawing underwater scenery.
Everybody is invited to come on out to enjoy the festivities that the Committee is putting together. Lobster Fest Caye Caulker 2015 kicks off with Pageant night being Friday, June 26, followed by a weekend packed with events for the entire family to enjoy on June 27 and June 28, 2015.
