From September 29 to October 3, 2014, U.S. Army aircraft from the Joint Task Force Bravo based in Soto Cano, Honduras provided airlift support to the Belize Defense Forces, Belize Coast Guard, Anti-Drug Unit and Mobile Interdiction Team as they conducted marijuana field eradication operations throughout Belize.

With the help of two UH-60 Blackhawks and one CH-47 Chinook helicopter members of the Belize military and police forces were able to destroy over 52,800 marijuana plants, 10 pounds of seeds and 1000 pounds of processed marijuana with a total estimated U.S. street value over $27 million.

This operation was part of a continuing partnership between the United States and Government of Belize to disrupt illegal activities and discourage criminal organizations from operating in Belize.
