It was a very successful fundraising Christmas Bazaar for the Roman Catholic Church that took place this past weekend on Saturday, November 11. The main purpose of the fundraiser is to raise money for new pews for the church. The street was closed down for the event which made for attendants to walk freely by the church and adjecent Friendship Park. There were booths with games for the children and plenty of food, treats and drinks available for everybody to enjoy. During the evening, a celebration was also held for the Lady of Guadalupe with music, serenades and a church service of the Virgin Saint. The San Pedro Roman Catholic Church is still accepting donations for the church pews (benches); anybody interested can contact Mr. Abel Guerrero or Mr. Will Alamilla.
