Saturday, May 5, 2012, San Pedro High School held its annual Business Fair at the R. Angel Auditorium. The Juniors and Seniors greeted all their customers with open arms and tried their best to impress, sell and represent their businesses. Just like in the business world today, there were many competitors and excellent marketing teams.
With an "Under the Sea" themed Quinceaños Party, including the appearances of Sebastian the crab, Ursula and an underwater scene, Zelly Lisbey celebrated her 15th Birthday in grand style at the R. Angel Nuñez Auditorium on Saturday, April 28, 2012.
Carole Goudreau of CG Esthetics held a Spring Celebration at one of San Pedro’s hotspots, Kama Lounge, on Monday, April 30, 2012. The Spring Celebration was in honor of all friends, clients, resort owners, mangers, wedding planners, photographers and florists.
San Pedro’s Miracle Baby - Daniel Estell has just come back from a follow-up check up in Columbia, South America after his liver transplant took place in August 2010. We are happy to announce that he has a clean bill of health and arrived back on the island today, Wednesday, April 25, 2012, with a huge smile on his face after seeing his family waiting for him at the airport.
Emilse Marin celebrated her Quince Años (15th Birthday) on Saturday, April 14, 2012, with a celebratory mass at the San Pedro Roman Catholic Church and festive party with family and friends beachside. Omelia and Carlos Marin presented the young woman to society along with her Godparents Selene and Freddie Gonzalez. Happy Birthday Emilse!

This time the cook off was hosted at the new Wet Willy's Cantina with many in attendance and happy to try out some great seafood, while having some nice drinks and listening to some great music. The San Pedro AIDS Commission once again presented the spectacular show of Noche de Estrellas Part II. The fundraiser is one of the two biggest events the Commission hosts every year and with resounding success of last year’s show, the Commission brought the superstars from Merida, Yucatan once again to entertain during the Easter festivities.
The San Pedro Holiday Hotel officially repoened its restaurant and bar under the new name Caprice; giving the establishment a new look. Classy Chic comes to mind when you step into Caprice; with a long and elegant bar, four different lounge areas, a waterfall wall, and the large deck converted into the restaurant dining area, the establishment now gives off more of a boutique-hotel feeling.
Four lovely candidates did a spectacular job at putting on a great show this past Saturday, March 31, 2012, at this year's Miss Isla Bonita Elementary Pageant. At the end of the fundraiser show that took place at the R. Angel Nuñez Auditorium, Alejandra Hackston, won the title of the new Miss Isla Bonita Elementary.
Miss Isla Bonita Elementary Pageant 2012 Takes Place this Saturday - This year Isla Bonita Elementary School will have four lovely candidates vying for the title of Miss Isla Bonita Elementary. Each has been working hard, together with their classes, to raise money for improvements to the Isla Bonita playground and lunch area.
This is the last week of Child Stimulation Month and children are enjoying the last fun activities prepared for them. Students of ABC Pre-School participated in Culture Day as they came dressed up in the different ethnic groups that make up our beautiful Belize.

Every year the Ministry of Education sets aside March as Child Stimulation Month and like clockwork it kicks off with pre-school children doing a small parade on the first day of March. Child Stimulation Month creates awareness to parents and the entire society that early childhood education is essential. The pre-schools encourage parents to get involved in the activities along with their children because it helps with the child’s development.

Captain’s Casino at Captain Morgan’s Retreat was the venue of Saga Humane Society’s Valentine’s Day Fundraiser that was held on Tuesday, February, 14, 2012. It was surely a successful event as a large crowd flooded the casino for some fun gambling, food and drinks, all in support of Saga’s worthy cause.

Ambergris Today congratulates Skybox Sports Lounge that celebrated its One Year Anniversary on Saturday, February 4, 2012, with a big bash. The place was packed, the music was great, complimentary drinks and snacks were served and the entire night was one big party. After a short year, Skybox has become one of San Pedro's hottest night spots!
Mesa Café held its grand opening party this past Friday, February 3, 2012, with plenty of good food, music, drinks and the company of great friends and invited guests. Owners Zoe Rose Hesse and Patrick Armitage hosted a great evening at San Pedro's newest restaurant/cafe which is located at the Vilma Linda Plaza across the Seaduced by Belize office on Tarpon Street.
