My Special Valentine

Saint Valentine's Day, or just plain Valentine's Day for most of us. It is a holiday observed on February 14 honoring one or more early Christian martyrs named Saint Valentine. It is traditionally a day in which lovers express their love for each other by presenting flowers, offering confectionery, and sending greeting cards. Valentine’s Day is also a day for family love, because it’s a day that we show our love and how much we care for someone whether a boyfriend/girlfriend, family member, or your best friend.

As the day gets closer, I believe that we teens get more nervous and anxious thinking of who our Valentine will be and what special gift they should receive. I believe that any gift given is special; even if it’s the smallest thing in the world, as long as it comes from the heart. So if you’re pretty broke this year, giving a hug and kiss on the cheek will do.

Teen Talk Reporter -Solani Graniel Valentine’s Day is a special day to me; it’s the day I feel most loved by all. I want to take this time to say to all Teen Talk readers and those who have helped me by submitting responses that I’m thankful for all your support and I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!! Also, that I wish you all a HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!! This special week I decided to ask my fellow teens: “What does Valentine’s Day mean for you?” “Do you already have a special Valentine?” “If yes, how special is this person to you and why?”

Teen Talk – Valentine’s to me is a day that we show our love to those who we appreciate and care about in life. It’s a time not only to receive but to give; it is a day where each and every individual should be and feel loved. This year I do have a special someone, he is super special to me because he understands me and appreciates and loves me for whom I am. He is also the sweetest person I can say that I know and I care for him as well.

Korin – Valentine’s to me means falling in love, crazy emotions but solitude to some people. Yes I do, he is an incredibly special to me because he is the sweetest person I know.

Ivy - Valentine’s Day is a day for the exchange of tokens of affection. I don't really have a special Valentine. For that day I show how much I love and care for my friends and family and let them know I will always be there for them.

Maria – Valentine’s is a day that we show our love, care and appreciation towards our loved ones. I do have a special someone and been with him for five months. We have shared much time together and I’m really starting to like this person.

Cesibell – Valentine’s is a day to show your love to your family and friends, spend time with them. Yes I do have a special someone this year; this person is really important to me because I need someone I can always count on him, as much as he can count on me. He shows me his love the same amount as I show him.

Nathalie – Valentine’s is the month of the color red, and the atmosphere of love. Yes I do, she is a very special person to me because I can always count on her, will always be there for me, and knows what’s right from wrong.

Ernilda – Valentine’s means a time to express your love and feelings for someone! It’s only a lover’s day. Yes my boyfriend! He is super special to me because he is always there for me and I can always count on him! Love him!

Jovi – Valentine’s is a time to show someone how much they mean to you....yes I have that someone. She is very special because she is the only person who knows me like how she does!

Jessica – Valentine’s is all about love. Love doesn’t make the world go round, love is what makes the ride worthwhile. Fortunately I do have a Valentine. I’m looking forward for what Valentine will bring to me this year; have never been someone to get stuff or spend time with anyone special but feels like this year will be different. This person is very special to me; words can’t really explain how I feel for him and I know he feels the same way. Happy Valentine’s Day Baby, I love u Robz!!

Hermela - For me, Valentine’s is a special day to be with the person we love, it could be a friend or that special one. I do have that special one, that person is extremely special to me; I have never met someone like that person before. He makes me happy every time I hear about Him or I see him.

Magdaluz – For me Valentine’s Day is a special day for persons who are truly in love. It is a time for people to share, give and receive; it is a special day. I want to say is Happy Valentine’s Day Friend. May I wish you the best day ever Ily!
