Mural Accents SPHS Beach Wall

Mural Accents SPHS Beach Wall

On our daily runs through the busy streets of San Pedro, an Ambergris Today reporter noticed that the San Pedro High School fence along the beachside was getting a face lift. For quite some time now, the fence has been constantly vandalized with ugly graffiti with obscene language and drawings. Seeing it getting a face lift was very enlightening.

The San Pedro Town Council informed Ambergris Today that this project has been done to discourage graffiti painting on the wall and beautify the area that is accessed by both locals and tourists. The San Pedro Town Council sponsored all the paint and Southwind Properties donated money towards the labor of the beautification of the fence.

Half of the fence depicts the beautiful Great Barrier Reef of Belize and marine life and the other half depicts the Rainforest with its flora and fauna.

So, when passing by the San Pedro High School along the beachside, take time stop and admire the beautiful artistic paint job that Mr. Efrain Guerrero Jr. has done courtesy of the San Pedro Town Council and Southwind Properties.

Lovely!  I hope it will not be vandalized.  I can't wait to see it the next time we are in San Pedro!
