House Fire in the Boca Del Rio Area
Residents of Boca Del Rio Area were alarmed as a fire broke out at a house in the area near the Boca Del Rio Bridge at about 8p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2011. The San Pedro Fire Department quickly responded to the fire call and upon arrival they quickly set up to out the fire which was on the first floor of a two storey building.
The building measuring 22’ x 20’ belongs to Mr. Armando Gonzalez and was being rented. The tenants were not in the building at the time of the fire and thankfully there were no casualties reported.
Initial investigations revealed that the cause of the fire seemed to be electrical and it is presumed to have started in the bathroom near the second bedroom. Occupants of the building have reported a total loss of belongings. The building was insured at $135,000.00 Bze.
