Meet Miss Mexico for Costa Maya Fest
This week we introduce the Miss Mexico contestant for Costa Maya Pageant; she is Valentina Cervera Avila. Valentina loves beauty pageants, literature, sports, movies and technological advances. She is a TV and event host, runway model and photo model. She is 5’7” tall, has brown eyes, dark brown hair and her measurements are 36-24-36.
Valentina Cervera previously won World Sea Queen held in the Maldives Islands and competed in Miss Intercontinental, both in 2004 representing Mexico. The same year she was elected Miss Earth Yucatán obtaining the right to represent her state in the national contest of Miss Earth México 2004 where she won the title and represented Mexico in Miss Earth 2004.
She participated in the Miss Maja World Pageant and won Best Regional costume, was a semifinalist in Miss World Amber 2003 and participated in Miss Globe 2004. Velentina won the title of Reyna de Carnaval de Merida in 2009
The San Pedro International Costa Maya Festival takes place from August 4 to August 7, 2011. The Reina de la Costa Maya Pageant takes place on Friday, August 5, where eight Central American/Mundo Maya Countries (including Mexico) vie for the prestigious international crown. Ticket sales for the Costa Maya Festival will start very soon. For more information, sponsorship or assistance you can visit the Costa Maya Festival office located on Black Coral Street across from Cindy’s Fast Food, next to the Atlantic Bank empty lot (previously Nancy’s Store). Ticket Prices are as follow:
Season Pass: Adults - $120, Children - $50
Thursday Opening Night: Adults - $40, Children - $15
Friday Pageant Night: Adults - $40, Children - $15
Saturday International Night: Adults - $100, Children - $50
Sunday Beach Party: Open to the public at Central Park
