Blue Water Rodeo

Despite the fact that the Shark Tournament was changed to the Blue Water Rodeo, after some friction with local fishermen who thought over-killing sharks was bad for the marine ecology, two large sharks were the center of attention at the final weigh-in of the Blue Water Rodeo Fishing Tournament held on Sunday, October 12, 2008. Below are the results of the tournament:

1st Place: Christina – Capt. Alberto Bradley – 202.5lb Bull Shark
2nd Place: Mai – Capt. Omero Graniel – 143.5lbs Shark
3rd Place: Flor – Capt. Leonardo Bradley – 34lb Sailfish

Biggest Fish: Alberto Bradley
Biggest Wahoo: Vernon Wilson
Youngest Angler: Byron Lara
Biggest Baracuda: Leonardo Bradley
Biggest King Fish: Armando Gonzalez

Calcutta: 1st Maritza Bradley, 2nd Jenny Staines & Raul Gonzalez
