Blue Iguana Grill - A new place to eat, a great view, delicious food and excellent service!

Dorian’s Angels were out and about looking for something fun and adventurous to do but instead of finding something adventurous they found something else; a new place to eat, with a great view, delicious food and excellent service – Blue Iguana Grille.

Justin Batdorff, owner of Blue Iguana Grille welcomed us to the restaurant and introduced us to his amicable staff. The bartender, Brian Burgess, was more than pleased to have us Angels mix up our drinks under his supervision. Angel Perlita made a Hypnotic Martini, Angel Delsie prepared a Tropical Splash and I made myself a Blue Iguana Drink. All three drinks were unique and delicious! And all of the drinks were original creations by Brian.

Our waiter Samuel Quinteros was very nice to us and waited on all our needs. To start things off we had Blue Iguana’s signature appetizers, Island Shrimp. All three of us Angels were fighting for the Island Shrimp - the tender crispy shrimps tossed in a spicy aioli sauce were exquisitely delicious.

Lunch was magnificent; Angel Delcie had the Turkey Reuben – shaved turkey breast with melted Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and Thousand Island dressing on toasted wheat bread. Angel Perlita had a Cobb Salad – jerk chicken, tomato, onion, avocado and blue cheese crumbles while I had a Steak & Cheese sandwich – shaved tenderloin with melted Swiss & Mozzarella Cheese on warm French Bread.

The Angels had a great lunch and great drinks while enjoying the cool Caribbean breeze in one of the islands newest restaurants. Thumbs up to - the chefs Matthew Martinez and Valia Navarette, our waiter Samuel, bartender Brian and to the owners, Justin Batdorff and Mike Rorie.
