Dorian's Angels at Train Station

Power Hour at Train Station Fitness Club – by Sofie Muñoz

After having enjoyed all the treats that the holiday season had to offer, Dorian thought it would be best to send his Angels to shed some pounds at the “Power Hour Aerobics” being offered at Train Station  Fitness Club.

    And so Perlita, Scarleth and I headed to the gym for our private Power Hour session with aerobics instructor, Yaneisy Zuniga. To start of our session we got to stretch and warm up with a few basic moves before moving on to the general workout which included arms, legs and abdomen.  Aerobics is a fun form of physical exercise that combines rhythmic aerobic exercise with stretching and strength training routines with the goal of improving all elements of fitness (flexibility, muscular strength, and cardio-vascular fitness).

     The power hour includes circuit training, and with the state of the art equipment that Train Station has what better way to workout. Each one of us got on a station (hydraulic equipment) which focuses on a particular body part.  There are seven stations in all and Yaneisy drilled us with more aerobics moves in between each station. It is the perfect workout to hit those fat cells and slim down fast. Keep in mind that Yaneisy targets one body part per workout; we got a full body workout to get a taste of all she has to offer.

     After our workout Perlita, Scarleth and I were treated to a protein shake at the Protein Smoothie Bar. The protein shakes help the body recover from the intense exercise by restoring muscle glycogen, a fuel source for exercise, which gets used up during workouts. The protein shakes are a favorite of many who use the gym especially since there is a variety of flavors to choose from such as pineapple, strawberry banana, chai latte and four berry blend, to mention a few.

    So if you want to get into shape, all you have to do is become a member of Train Station Fitness Club and you are entitled to use the equipment in the facility as well as to part take in Yaneisy’s Power Hour Aerobics which are offered daily from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Yaneisy is an enthusiast/aficionado of Aerobics and has been giving aerobics classes since she was studying in the university in Cuba.

      So stop by Train Station Fitness Club today and become a member of the gym. Their opening hours are from 6:00a.m. to 9:00p.m. Monday thru Friday and 6:00a.m. to 6:00p.m. on Saturdays.
