Dorian’s Angels -The Baker
Dorian’s Angels at The Baker
This week the Angels were enjoying the cool weather and felt that a goodcup of coffee would be the perfect drink to warm up. And a cup of coffee is enjoyed even more with something sweet to eat even more so at a great ambience. With that in mind we visited to the newest bakery in town, The Baker.
The Baker Team was more than pleased to have us at their establishment and treated is to some coffee, juices and sweet delicious fresh made bread. To our surprise we were joined by one of Ambergris Today’s former employee/Angel – Scarleth Delgado, who was estatic to catch up on the Angel’s Adventures.
Angel Perlita enjoyed a delicious strawberry milkshake and a Swiss Nut Croissant, Angel Delsie had a US cinnamon roll with a cup of cappuccino, I had a fresh brewed cup of coffee with a French Choco Croissant and Scarleth enjoyed the same croissant with a fresh glass of pineapple juice.
At The Baker you can find fresh baked bread every day, nothing is re-heated the following day, whatever is not sold is donated to the feeding program at the Holy Cross Anglican School.
There is a variety of bread such as US Bagels, Breakfast Buns, Croissants, San Pedro Sweet Bread (soft white bread, plain, almond or raisins), Swiss Nut Bread (white sour dough, crusty bread with walnuts), German Toast Bread (white bread for Regular toast or French toast), French Baguette and German Sandwich Rolls (both great for sandwiches), and much more.
You can enjoy all these treats with your choice of warm or cold drinks such as espressos, regular fresh brewed coffee, cappuccinos, lattes, cortado’s (coffee with caramel, vanilla or Caribbean rum), milkshakes (vanilla, strawberry, banana, coconut or chocolate flavor), smoothie’s, soft drinks, fresh juices and even draft beer.
The Baker also offers daily pastries such as Éclairs, Crème brûlée, to name a few. You will be glad to know that all products of The Baker are baked with all natural and organic ingredients with no preservatives. The Baker is located on Barrier Reef Drive across the Town Council. Opening hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. every day of the week. Happy Hour is every day from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. And remember if the Angels recommend it…Its Gotta be GOOD!!!
