About Us

For twelve years Ambergris Today served the community of San Pedro with exceptional news, coverage of local events, creating awareness of social issues and international events that affect our community, been a medium for people to express their opinions and been a newspaper that entertains and enlightens. Since 1999 this service had been provided through a weekly publication – newsprint that was distributed in San Pedro and parts of the country.

Now, Ambergris Today takes a giant leap forward in providing a new and better service by making the switch from a weekly newsprint to a Daily Online news service. We are very excited with the launch of our NEW Website that will be a daily source of news and entertainment for our readers both locally and now even broader international audience.
