The San Pedro Town Pedro Council will be hosting the 3rd Annual San Pedro Softball Cup on Saturday, April 13th and Sunday, April 14th at the Ambergris Stadium.
Three schools will be participating as follows:
St. John’s College – 2012 National Male Softball Sub-Champions
Belmopan Comprehensive School – 2013 Male Softball Sub-Champions

Sunday, July 8, 2012, The San Pedro High School Baseball Team gathered at the R. Angel Nuñez Auditorium, where they all had the previledge to meet Mr. Chris Bonnet from International Sports Outreach. Mr. Bonnet had some very inspiring words and experiences to share with the team and also was very proud to know that they are the first ever baseball team in the country of Belize.
A football tournament is currently underway and is being sponsored by The San Pedro Town Council, Shalom and Caye Caulker Water Taxi. The tournament commenced on Saturday, May 19, 2012 with two groups of teams.

Three great athletes from San Pedro High School will be participating in track and field events at the Central American Junior Championships which will be held in San Salvador, El Salvador. Gian Rivero, Brandon Santos and Charles Richards are part of the Belizean team that will be representing our beautiful Belize in the sporting event.
The Second Annual San Pedro Softball Tournament took place on Friday, April 13 and Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Old Football Field. The three teams who part took in the event were St. John’s College, Belmopan Comprehensive and San Pedro High School.

The Lighthouse Christian Radio is always hosting fun and educative programs for the children of San Pedro. This past weekend the second annual After Christmas Football Tournament took place at the Old Football Field.
The Belize District National Volleyball Zone Competition took place at the Angel Nuñez Auditorium on Monday, November 1, 2011. The Volleyball Competition is for elementary schools and the Zone competition includes teams from Caye Caulker and San Pedro. There were only participants from San Pedro which included The San Pedro RC School, The Island Academy and Holy Cross Anglican School.
- Press Release - The Belize Karate Federation (BKF) is making history this weekend by participating in the Iberoamerican Karate Championships in Managua, Nicaragua. This marks the first time that Belizean athletes have participated in a prestigious Iberoamerican sporting championship.

Ambergris Today would like to congratulate the San Pedro Footbal Club for their accomplishment in winning first place on the marathon at Sarteneja on Saturday, April 23.
San Pedro High School has one more title to be proud of as the school’s softball team is the Regional Champions for the softball competition that took place on Saturday, February 26 and Sunday, February 27 in the Orange Walk District.

All Games are played at 7:00 p.m. at the Old Football Field.
The San Pedro High School has a new softball team and as part of their practice a softball marathon was held this past weekend at the Old Football Field. The marathon is great practice for the new team as they prepare for future games.
After bringing home the first place trophies for both the male and female Northern Regional Volleyball Championship on October 23, the San Pedro Volleyball teams were in high spirits as they travelled this past weekend to Corozal Civic Centre, Corozal Town where Escuela Secundaria Mexico Technical High School hosted the NSSSA National Volleyball Tournament Finals.
While Hurricane Richard had no effects in the northern districts of Corozal and Orange Walk, the San Pedro High School Male and Female Volleyball teams did have devastating effects on the northern high schools as they pounded them with spikes of hurricane strength.
On Saturday October 23, 2010, the eve of Hurricane Richard, San Pedro High School travelled to Orange Walk to participate in the Volleyball Northern Regional Tournament.
San Pedro Veterans played in charity football quadragular organized by Dara, at MCC on Sunday, October 10. Creative Tiles scored first with a goal by Felipo Alario to lead 1-0 at the half time. Creative Tiles fouled San Pedro's Alden Augustine inside the box, the referee ruled penalty and Billy Leslie converted to tie score 1-1. 2nd half substitute Albert Gutierrez scored San Pedro's 2nd goal to lead 2-1, but Felipo Alario outran SP defender Juan Diaz to score a 2nd goal to tie the ball game at 2-2
