Today was graduation announcements at San Pedro High School and with that came the signing of the uniforms. It's an annual and year-old tradition where students and friends write congratulatory messages on the senior's uniforms once they know that they are graduation from San Pedro High. Here are a few pictures from today's happy announcements.

Students of St. John's Junior College took on La Ruta Maya River Challenge on March 8, 2013. On the creatively named kayak " We're Better at Studying" was participants Gian Hernandez, Victor Valdez and proud Sanpedrano; Lucio Nunez. We captured the true definition of Caye Caulker's 'Go Slow' motto this past weekend as there was nothing or anybody that was moving this dog from the middle of the street. He was taking a morning nap as pedestrian and golf carts passed by - the very little traffic that there is on the streets of Caye Caulker.
The wind has been blowing strongly lately on La Isla Bonita and no it's not hurricane season. We are definitely not complaining; just Mother Nature doing what she does best. This young boy was anxious to get his picture taken as he discovered a beautiful Star Fish while he was enjoying a day out in the water. While having fun on his surf board, he spotted the sea creature on the sea bottom and was too curious not to dive for it.
“Flip flops on Christmas... YES... that is Christmas in Belize! Miss it.” This is what a friend of Ambergris Today commented when she saw this picture. Getting married in Belize - it is an amazing concept and reality that many visitors dream of and what many have made a reality. Destination weddings in Belize take place on the beach, on board a sail boat, in the Caribbean Sea, in the jungle, atop a Maya Ruin and sandbars during sunsets.
The weekend was a bit wet but that was no reason for fishing aficionados to stay home sulking. We know that the lover of fishing will head out to sea no matter what the weather conditions are.
